Internships at NZSA
We regularly take sports science interns from colleges around the world to experience first hand the world of rugby coaching.

Our Irish Sports and Exercise Science interns
Adam, Paula and Cormac are three Irish College students studying Sports and Exercise Science, in the University of Limerick, Ireland.
They joined us for six months as part of their internship which include modules such as Physiology, Exercise Prescription, Sports Psychology, Sports Injuries, Biomechanics, Biochemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
They were involved with designing Strength and Conditioning programmes for our players and for those that needed it extra fitness and weight loss programmes. They also played designed rehabilitation programmes for any injured players.
We’re sorry to see them go and have been an asset to our strength and conditioning programme. But they’ll always be part of the NZ Sports academy team and they’re your Irish contacts if you want to find out more about the NZSA programme.
